Mehdi Sadeghi, DDS

Dr. Sadeghi (known to his patients as Dr. Mehdi) is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Memphis. He is originally from Iran and after spending few years in Europe and Boston, made his home in Memphis. Dr. Mehdi taught at the University of Tennessee Dental School for more than 22 years and attends many continuing education classes to stay current on the newest dental technology. He is member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, Memphis Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and Iranian-American Medical Association. Dr. Mehdi is active in his community; he served on the Board of Directors of two non-profit organizations and volunteers at the local dental clinic. He is married and has two daughters. Dr. Mehdi is a huge Memphis Grizzlies fan and don’t be surprised if you see him dancing on the jumbo-tron at the Fedex Forum.

Pat Clark, DDS

Dr. Clark is a graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. He is married and a father of 5. Dr. Clark volunteers his time to many organizations and frequently travels on missionary trips all around the world. He initiated the first annual charity event in Memphis, “Dentistry with a Heart”, in April 2006. “Dentistry with a Heart” is a cooperative effort with other local dentists to provide free dental care to those in need. Dr. Clark and his team devote hundreds of hours every year to continuing education. This continuous education keeps him and his team on top of technology and techniques that translate to the best dental care anywhere in the world.

Stephanie, RDA, Dental Assistant, Clinical Manager

Stephanie has been a dental assistant for 28 years and has been with Dr. Clark since 2000. She’s married and has 2 sons and 2 grandsons. Stephanie and her husband also have 4 dogs that they love along with their kids. She loves family time and going to the lake.

Ally, RDA, Dental Assistant

Ally has 29 years of experience and is a dedicated assistant in our practice. With a strong commitment to patient care, she excels in helping the dental team and ensuring that things run smoothly and efficiently. Her passion for dentistry and patient comfort makes her a great member of the team.

Carla, RDA, Dental Assistant

Carla E. Means has been a cherished member of our dental practice for over 20 years. She consistently brings warmth, kindness, and extraordinary expertise in her role as a professional dental assistant. Her gentle touch and compassionate nature and demeanor have made countless patients feel at ease, especially those who may be anxious about dental visits. Carla’s experience and focused attention to detail ensure that each procedure runs smoothly. Her dedication and loyalty to patient care shines through in everything she does. She is more than a skilled dental assistant; she’s a diligent beloved team member who consistently goes above and beyond her assigned responsibilities making a positive impact on both our patients and everyone that enters our practice.

Katie, RDA, Dental Assistant

Katie is a Registered Dental Assistant who joined Smile Center Memphis back in 2022. She received her undergraduate degree at University of Tennessee, Knoxville, then later completed schooling for Dental Assisting. Katie’s favorite things are drinking espresso, being a mom to her cat, and working with youth at local outreach programs. Her passion as an assistant is to help anxiety-prone patients feel more comfortable and listened to. With a background in studying psychology during her collegiate years, Katie understands that bad experiences of the past can stick with patients causing them to fear ever going back to a dental office. This is why she is driven to help facilitate new and refreshing experiences for patients where they can feel fully supported and valued here at our office.

Sarah, RDA, Dental Assistant

Sweet Sarah has been a dedicated dental assistant in our practice for over 10 years, bringing warmth and professionalism to every patient she meets. Known for her gentle touch and calming presence, she has a unique ability to put patients at ease, especially those with dental anxiety. She’s a proud mother of a feisty 2 year old daughter, Piper. She enjoys hunting deer, duck, and squirrels on her time off work.

Jennifer, RDA, Dental Assistant

Jennifer is a true Memphian, raised in Germantown, TN until she was 19 years old. She graduated from the University of Memphis in 2011 and attended Concorde to become an RDA in 2020. Jennifer is energetic and charismatic and her favorite color is pink. She has been married since 2013 and has 2 boys along with 2 cats. She enjoys being in nature and loves canoeing on the rivers near and far. She like to tell everybody that she is the “shortest member of our team”.

Dana, RDH, Dental Hygienist

Dana has been a dental hygienist in our office for 35 years. Her long career reflects not only her experience in dental hygiene but also her commitment to fostering long-term relationships with her patients. Dana has been happily married to Don for 36 years. Together, they have four sons, Kale, Colin, Will (Alex), and Max, each bringing unique joy and character to the family. Recently, Dana’s family has grown even more special with the addition of her first grandson, Kendall, who has brought a new level of love and excitement to their lives. Her big family also loves and enjoys playing with their big fur baby, Romeo.

Michelle, RDH, Dental Hygienist

Michelle is a dedicated dental hygienist with 30 years of experience, treating her patients with the warmth and care of family. She’s married to her high school sweetheart, John, and together they have four children, including three sons. Michelle finds immense joy in her role as “Lolli” to two precious grandchildren, cherishing every moment spent with them. Known for her compassion and commitment, she brings a sense of love and family into every part of her life.

Brittany, RDH, Dental Hygienist

Brittany has been a dental hygienist for almost 10 years. She graduated from UT Health Science Center in 2015. She loves getting to know her patients and educating them on their oral health. She has been with Smile Center since January of 2022. Brittany has a genuine passion for the dental field and loves learning about the latest and greatest innovations and continuing education courses. She has been married for 18 years to her high school sweetheart and has three kids, one son (7) and two daughters (5 & 6 months). Her kids bring her so much joy and she loves being a mom. Her family loves being outside and their favorite place is the beach! Brittany loves to bake and craft and gets a lot of help from her little people!

Kim, Office Manager

Kim is the Office Manager and has been with our practice for an impressive 22 years, bringing stability to the team. Married to Al, she is a proud mom of 3 adult kids and the “Sugar “to 3 precious grandsons. Outside of work and family, Kim has an undeniable passion for the Pittsburgh Steelers, one that might even rival her love for her grandkids. Whether she’s cheering on her favorite team or spending time with her family, Kim’s enthusiasm and spirit are truly infectious.

Denise, Front Office

Denise comes to us with over 35 years of dental experience. She is passionate about getting to know all of the patients personally and making sure they receive the quality care from our office that she would expect as a patient. She has been married to the love of her life for 33 years. Denise and her husband, Coroy, have 3 adult sons and 2 fur babies, Paisley and Phoebe. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her husband on their farm and with their 2 beautiful granddaughters.
